Trapped Poem by Deborah Cromer

Trapped

Rating: 5.0

Lost and empty without a clue
I wonder what evil spills forth from you
The danger, the silence and moment of fear
I scream aloud for help of nobody to hear
For all there is but only one season
You trick and torment my soul without reason
The fury of this hell will take you down
Below depths of my unquestionable frown
Planning your work and working your plan
Creating all violence and harm that you can
Addiction is tradition for the amount to reach
Streams to rivers to oceans to beach
Raging anger kills and destroys my mind
All of my peace is left behind
While this nightmare rises high
This deadly reality needs to die
I waited, I wanted and I tried
Now all work and patience have died
Overcome by insecurities and deep driven fears
Abused and mistreated for many years
Into a dark corner I crawl and hide
My fear and pain together stay tied
I hurt and hurt so deep and real
The numbness of nothing is all I feel

Your fame has preceded you. A nine tear gap. On the shelf so to speak for nine years. You would do well in the commercial world plucking shelf companies and selling them to suckers.
