Truth And Delusion Fight Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Truth And Delusion Fight

Truth and delusion fight.
To see who rules,
Over truth or delusion.
While lies told to be sold,
Continue to move.
As reality tries to survive,
A beating it is going through.

Deluders are on their knees seen praying,
To keep their fantasies.
Deluders are on their knees seen praying,
Their fantasies from them won't leave.

Truth and delusion fight.
How will this battle end.
Will it be truth.
Or delusion.
And who will know which one wins.

Many have depended on delusion.
Many have depended on truth.
Many have depended upon,
What they've been told.
Throughout their lives.
Not knowing whether it was true.
And if it was reality to believe,
Where was that produced to pursue.
Will truth knock out delusion.
Or will delusion prove to rule.

Truth and delusion fight.
How will it end.
Which one will win.
Truth and delusion fight.
And whichever one survives,
Will reality by the liars...
Still be denied?
Or will those on knees,
Pray themselves into craze.
Until neither one becomes recognized.
