Truth Is True To Truth Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Truth Is True To Truth

It matters not,
Who berates to understate it.
Smear it with scathing comments made.
Drag it through mud.
Attempting to smother its fate.
Or claim it faked.
There is something about truth,
That never betrays to remain and stay...
Reliable despite,
How It is attacked day and night.
Although it has a way,
Of bringing dismay to those who seem...
Doing their best to make truth appear,
Untrue and dishonest.
Yet...
Truth is true to truth.
Regardless who wishes,
Not to hear it with their ears.
Or believe truth a threat to even be near it!
