Truth Told Dishonestly Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Truth Told Dishonestly

Uncertainty filling hearts of those who've had their heart
broken in two, leaving a void behind that can never be fill-
ed because the tragedy of mistrust has done its damage.

Nothing can fix what's been done, heart shying far from words
of love, it only causes despair, disheartening a once feeling
of being loved for oneself, or thought that at least, but find-
ing out that truth was being told dishonestly.
