Trying To Catch Up With One's Own Life Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Trying To Catch Up With One's Own Life

Running through the years, trying to catch up with one's
own life, wanting to grasp hold of it, figuring out just
what is needed in order to settle down to an individual
purpose.

Hoping to work at it, and in the end fulfilling every
aspect and facet that's been neglected through the years
of marriage, having kids, raising them and working.

Having to put an individual purpose on the side until one
day catching up to what's needed to rekindle and ignite
their essence, passion and desires in order to meet destiny.

Waiting, getting all purposes together, coming to terms with
it before becoming ready for their final sunsetical horizon,
hoping that it will be good enough for God to allow entrance
into heaven when it's time.
