Tumbling Rain Poem by Wojja Fink

Tumbling Rain

Rating: 5.0

I have had enough of heart aches
And poets shouting pain
Words like empty sandcastles
Dissolve in tumbling rain

He’s stole my love away
Like a thief in moonless night
You should have loved her more
And led her to the light

You fed her soul with promises
That you could never keep
Opened her heart with words
But the keys you couldn’t keep

Now you sing your melodies
And pour out all your scorn
The nights they just go spinning
Your presents no longer worn

Please take your poem
And write it one more time
Don’t send it to her please,
She’s now a love of mine.
