Ugliness To Delude Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Ugliness To Delude

Naysayers appear,
To have finally begun...
Opening their eyes and ears.
Making it for them possible,
For a reality to accept.
Without objecting to its clarity.
Once to have refused to reject.
Until the nightmare of truth,
Scared away from their doorsteps...
The ugliness of their lives to delude!
Leaving them with nothing left to do,
But stare.
And made aware,
Of just how ugly...
Their lives to live they had made to be.
