Unbroken Poem by Matt Mooney

Unbroken

Rating: 5.0

(For Róisín)

Blown about but still unbroken,
Hard knocks are left unspoken.
Head down, my hair in the wind;
I'd stand tall but willows bend.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Thoughts shared with my grand daughter on watching a young willow being blown about in the wind in Brussels.

Beautiful imagery, we all have to learn to bend but still remain unbroken in the trials and tribulations of this life! Great write!
