Unbroken Promise Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Unbroken Promise

Rating: 5.0

C-old chill of the night
H-as turned into a fresh morning;
E-vening shadows disappear,
R-ain stops from falling.
Y-esterday is left behind to make room for today;
L-et this day be special as you celebrate your birthday.

C-oal clouds leave the skyway,
A-fter the twilight has faded;
L-onely haze has turned
I-nto a flame orange or red.
C-rimson sun starts shining,
D-ay ten of March is fair;
A-n early morn has broken,
N-o more mist in the air.

N-ew day is dawning,
O-pen your heart and eyes;
N-ever let your mind close,
A-llow your life to be
N-ice.

T-ry to wait for the rainbow
U-nder the wide lanes above;
T-ime will finally tell
A-bout the patience of true love.
A-t the end of the horizon lies the unbroken promise;
N-ot for a single minute will that vow miss the heavenly bliss.
