People are not fair,
Life, constant scare
Society, a snare,
A slippery trap
Set by politicians'
Empty heads
And false swears,
Leading, to no where
Thru the lies
That History provides
For those elected,
For they just don't care
Except, for their own
Accursed and false hides,
As all combines
In deadly tides
Of uncivilized,
Cruelty and Despair.
Yes, Uncivilized
We have not yet learned
How to be fair
How to love each other
Be truthfully benevolent
And really, really care
Pity!
How much longer,
Can we proudly wear
Our masks of failure,
Condoning Evil
In a world,
So terribly, unfair.
We expect everyone to be like us even those who run our country, and as you've said it's not true. Wonderful poem.
We expect others to be fair. Fairness is individually given. There is no universality in this commodity. The same with love.
How much longer, Can we proudly wear Our masks of failure, Condoning Evil In a world, So terribly, unfair... beautiful
