Down below
The fire is burning;
Over the top
The wind is howling.
Beneath the ground
The earth is shaking;
Up in the sky
The birds are flying.
Deep in the ocean
The current is strong;
On the earth's surface
The road is long.
Across the floor
A pet dog does crawl;
At the ceiling
A lizard doesn't fall.
Mountain's summit
Takes away pain;
Plants in the fields
Thirst for the rain.
Kings rule
Their respective nation;
Slaves suffer
From severe persecution.
Masters command
With utter authority;
Servants obey
With sheer humility.
Head and heels
Cover the column;
Feet are standing
Under the bottom.
Head and heels cover the collumn. Feet are standing under the bottom I enjoyed the theme of the poem.Thanks for sharing.Regards.10+++++++* Binaya
