all the adults died
passive aggressive toddlers
decide who eats bombs
i must be missing something in this poem. perhaps it is irony standing in my way? i don't 'do well' with symbolism. but it seems obvious the words are not all meant to be taken seriously. Are they? ARE THEY! ! ! ? ? ? YOU're just talking about Canada, right? Right! ! ! bri ;) i must move to another.
Hi Bri, I just don't know how I missed this comment earlier. But Canada? No, no, no....I'm not sure why, but you're making me think of Dr. Strangelove.
I may have different thinking than what you may want us to get, but truly when i read this what come to my mind is it can be adults themselves and it can be a growing new generation that now has no one able to guide them, the childish mentality is all about to survive in this life, the weak will lost and stronger will win. what Ali said also interesting, nice senryu dear!
Soul, absolutely. It can indeed be read as a metaphorical death. There may be plenty of bodies in charge of the world, but all those internal qualities may indeed be impaired and childish. Thanks so much.
I think, not one percent of the population is by mental age. . walls of bathrooms kind of social media. .. adults are to die. and simply.. majority is authority. Sad poem and brilliant work.

That is talent- to place horror and humor, irony and metaphor- -in 11 words and thereby grab your readers by the throat and put them on their knees where they belong in this age [and in every age to be sure] but this age has the maniacs with their egotistical fat fingers on the nuclear button.
