United Racist Faces Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

United Racist Faces

These days to live them witnessed.
With so much advancements,
Progressively to have been made.
Whether to admit or not.
From times documented.
When human beings once lived in caves.
There are some still dwelling,
Limited in minds...
To throw rocks and stones.
Hunting as if barbarians to claim,
That which they do not own.

These days,
With mixed races to not recognize.
Who is Caucasian, Asian, Mexican.
Or of African descent.
Walls and fences are continually built.
To prevent the appearance,
Of an ancestry from being diminshed.

And in a place called the United States,
More find time of theirs to waste.
Laying on beaches to get 'colorized'.
While others unaccepting their 'darkness',
Are discovered to have bleached their faces.
For purposes not to be quickly identified.
To then declare each other racists.

This to do,
Makes absolutely no sense at all.
For those of faith.
Claiming devotion to fake it passed.
In attempts to convince,
Who among them represents...
God's favorites.
With this intended and meant.

To then have this believed,
The World over to inflict...
Unending conflict.
Division, chaos and destruction.
Done to prove,
God approves of their ignorance.
Kept to maintain.
Without it to acknowledge,
United racists representing all faces.
Yet can not accept,
What God has created to respect.
Or themselves to admit,
We all reflect images of One God.
Who has repeatedly stated,
'Worship no other 'gods' before ME.
Dispute this amongst yourselves.
If you so wish.
But you will get over it.
This is a promise.
To end the delusions of fools.'

"God did not say that."

God doesn't have to.
Actions speak louder than words.
A picture God creates.
Seldom is in need of explanations.
Unless...
Those asleep refuse to be awakened.
Then God will choose,
To make this more vivid.
In ways to display made absolutely clear.
