Untittled Poem by Siyabonga A Nxumalo

Untittled

Rating: 5.0

Wounds in my heart
Are still bleeding
And wide open.

Memories doesn't
Seem to fade away quickly.
Seeing you in my dreams,
Holding you,
Hugging you,
Kissing you,
In my dreams,
Makes my dreamland,
My best world.

I still remember,
The look in your eyes,
As you pave your way
South as i'm heading north.
You forgot one thing,
'Road to hell
Is paved with golden intentions'.

I still remember your face,
As your shining eyes
Fade away into darkness,
Creating a monster
Calling it destiny.

Although i have moved
From where i was yesterday,
But my eyes keep looking
For that beautiful little
Flower they saw yesterday.

When doves sings,
The scars in my heart bleeds,
I recall my days with you,
Holding hands,
Sharing our joy.

When butterflies kiss each other,
Inhaling nice scent
From spring flowers,
Enjoying those warm sunrays
In mid-spring.
That invisible empty space
In my heart become visible.

I smile with birds,
And cry with frogs.
I sing with birds,
And reminisce with time.
