Unwanted Poem by Rachael Hardy

Unwanted

Rating: 3.9

I would rather die than cry
I fear my father hates me
Not sure if my mother cares
She says she loves because she has to
And feeds me because I am there
I hate the life I live
Eyes filled with tears
Heart with Fears
My friends they say they love me
With hate in their eyes
And knifes at my back
Waiting
Yes they wait
They wait because they hate
I do too play their cruel game
Maybe one day they may show me acceptance
Show me love
Or God I want it from above
Take me out and carry me
Somewhere they care
To a better place where they neither shout nor curse
For the first
Maybe
I would feel accepted
Maybe I would feel loved
Maybe
Just maybe
I have bled too long internally
Its time I show this world my hate for it
Hell could not be worst

the world tries to crush the heart but the world cannot crush the heart not a heart who can write such a fine poem filled with strength and devotion to the truth and this internal nightmare you now feel shall in the end blossom into flowers of beauty

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind - Mahatma Gandhi. Forgiveness is a more desirable emotion than vengeance. The love most people have for us feeds on the love we have for them. For reasons unexplainable, I have seen persons who are hated by those around them, for no apparent reason. A well articulated poem, insightfully penned from the heart. Thanks for sharing. Rejection can destroy a life hate can destroy a soul, love will not heal until we live in love, in our suffering and sorrow we can choose life, choose to give to broken souls who need our love, choose to give to family friends strangers, in smiles of appreciation is the gift of love, in fingers reaching out in hope is the gift of love, in eyes embracing beauty is the gift of love, in hearts awaking breathing is the gift of love, to give freely is to receive freely healing love, in love for others gift given is a harvest of love, live in the beauty breaths blessings of beautified love. Kim Barney I share your sentiments and also hope Rachael Hardy is alive well and prospering, and all others feeling alone hurt rejected, may someone many reach out and beginning the healing gift of love in your lives.

Rachael, I hope you are alive and well. Your poem starts out by saying you would rather die than cry, and ends on a negative note as well. You have not submitted a poem to this site since 2009. I sincerely hope your life has gotten better since you wrote this poem. Best wishes.

This is for me too introspective, to say anything about the human condition. No observation, just a rant full of self pity and negativism. Not for me.
