Upon The Mountain Top Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Upon The Mountain Top

If you're looking down on me,
You'll know I'm missing you.
For in my dreams I search each night,
Beneath those skies so blue.
For maybe just a glimpse of you,
Upon that mountain top,
Smiling down just like before,
My search will never stop.
If you are looking down on me,
From there, your heaven high
You shall see,
I still feel sad,
As every day goes by.
Perhaps one day we'll meet once more,
When we can share that dream,
For now I'll hold that special wish,
Remember what has been.
