Used To... Poem by Dislocated Heart

I used to run, from all problems that stand still.
I used to hide, away, just so I wouldnt have to tell.
I used to stay within shadows, not showing my face.
I used believe in certain things, but times changed.

I now, stand to face all.
I no longer hide, I will, speak the truth.
No more shadows, I step out.
Things that seem impossible,
Why not a chance?

A smile on my face, I walk proud.
I kno who I am,
Not lost within a crowd.
I stand strong, alone or with you.
no longer broken,
With the love you gave.
you made me strong,
in almost every way.

Times changed, you changed me..
