Vanqushed - Poem by archana talupuru
the birds sing
the birds sing and fall
my cat made a bird open up to itself...
felt how the bird was like
with the air fragnent with a buried smell...
i sweep away the ruins
the ruins of the vanquished bird
all the memories that was
departed with no sign of fear or safety..
washed away without a sign
but one sign still remained
and the was the scar in my heart for the bird...
and also the food in the cats stomach..
