I went site shopping today for some poems to suit my fancy
Aisle one was filled with poems about love or on love
Top bottom missionary style poems with little sex
Or too much sex albeit highly unlikely enough to satisfy
My itch....scratching
I went down aisle three where the mixers, shakers and drinkers slurred
Their words with the drunken preciseness only found in madness
Aisle four fared little if any better for there all hope was cast
Upon the shores of either the Emerald or Ivory coast
By rising tides in search of a limerick or a laugh....
And by the time I went down aisle ten....my stomach growled
Again and then again....feed me it roared from inside my literary gut
I need you to find my culinary dream's delight

I think that's really rather charming. I hate having to wade through the chaff sometimes and boy there's a lot of it about. t x
Here's the problem...my latest posting was on aisle #2...and you missed it! Plus, you really must ask the poetess...ask...about your use of Velveeta. She seems to have exclusive rights (or rites) to it now...Scarlett

I an a big fan of Angie's poetry too. Heck, I even bought some 1800 in her honor. Nice poem. Zen
