Virgin Nature- No More Poem by Poetic Sky

Virgin Nature- No More

Rating: 5.0

The world once pristine, oh how it did gleam
with virgin nature so pure and serene
untouched by man, it flourished with life
with mountains, seas and forests so rife.

But then came the people, with axes and saws
and the virgin nature began to pause
the trees fell, the oceans turned gray
the mountaintops diminished day by day.

Nature cried out as the damage was done
But man kept on, fueled by greed and fun
The air grew heavy, the water is unclean
and the serene terrain had now become hostile.

Mother Nature is being destroyed and replaced by concrete jungles...parking lots and condominiums. And we pay through our teeth for both. Your poem is a timely reminder to stop raping Mother Nature! Great poem, Poetic Sky!

The climate change and environmental crisis are man's own making. Very true. Most pertinent contemporary issue effectively expressed.5*

There is a constant outcry for the environment and its conservation. While we discuss planting trees extensively, why don't we impose limitations on deforestation? Our insatiable greed has spoiled the once-pristine nature. Full ****
