Voice Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

Voice

Rating: 5.0

the sound of your voice comes over
golden, so sweet
I don't know whether to laugh or to cry
it echoes and the earth and my heaven seem to sing
while your soothing voice hangs inside my head
flushing away all thought of pain
nearly flushing away all thought
I could hear it for the rest of my life,
and never tire of listening

these moments a person could give his entire existence for them their beauty their truth their certainty and you have them in the palm of her hand that close that wonderful a fine poem
