Voice Of The Lonely... - Poem by (brief renderings) Joe Fazio
Who hears the muted voices of of the lonely?
Perhaps it is those beyond that of flesh and bone.
For is it not possible that other living things
like the trees...flowers...animals and all else
here on earth that live-can hear?
Surely someone...something, can hear the muted
crys of help, sadness and the voice of the lonely.
We hear Natures Voices, so why can't they
Am I mad to think the sound of the river and
the roar of the waves, can hear us?
As the wind blows through the trees and
howls in the night-can it not in turn
hear our muted sounds?
Perhaps I am mad. Perhaps I am not.
