I woke to the rising of the morning sun
reached out wanting to hold you
only to realize you were gone
and you won't be coming home

Listening to the sound of the wind
blowing through the chimes
bringing back the memories of you my friend
taking away the times
wanting to hold you again

Looked up to the sky
to see if I could see you fly
with every angel passing by
while my heart bleeds and turns to stone
I hold on to your love so true
waiting to meet you in the end
