Iryna, today the fighting is intense,
we fight to halt the Russian advance.
in the barrage to eat chips I got a chance,
in all of this my love for you is immense,

your fair beauty holds me in suspense,
you do not need lipstick to it enhance,
I remember our last romantic dance:
how you were sweet and I was very tense.

I thank you for the chips and that you care,
it's the small things that to me means a lot,
like a super woman you do fearless dare,
if I could I would offer you all I have got:
you are of my unending feelings aware
and I of your lovely forget-me-not.
