Watching Families Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Watching Families

Watching families come together, ordering food and
carrying on conversations, filled with laughter,
at times a serious discussion.

Holding the essence of family life within their
hands, parents guiding and leading their children
in the direction of honesty, truth, morals and God.

Leaving nothing undone, raising their children with
the power of God to make sure they will be well in
their futures.

Times ahead when they will no longer be here on earth
to show them the way to righteousness, compassion and
self-reliance.
