Water Poem by L C Vieira

Water

Oh drink again, again, again
and fill this thirsty soul.
The fires that burn within my heart
have all but felt death's toll.

Oh pour right through and deep inside,
'til all is washed away.
Though scorch wounds die eventually,
I've scars that live today.
