We Accuse - Poem by Sandra Feldman

He,
Had the potential to do so much good,
But did so much bad!
What makes man, the Monster he is,
Partly good but mostly bad.

Topic(s) of this poem: abuse

Poet's Notes about The Poem

The 'He' with which the poem begins is any and every man who has abused killed and enslaved others, physically or mentally. Shame on us as a species that is supposed to be rational! ! !

    the imbalanced he
    is a threat to all

It makes me wonder about people and the need for wealth and then power. How do they reconcile to themselves these deeds which are so abhorrent - I wonder. Thankyou. (Report) Reply
