All who dwell among us
They are but birds.
They are sometimes beautiful,
and sometimes happy.
Deep inside their bodies, where
daylight does not shine
Their secrets are exposed,
they are but instinct driven.
And so the birds among us,
how can they be loved?
When they cannot understand how
wretched that they are.
Yes, they are. Scare away the bad and nurture the good ones. Beautiful and thought provoking poem. CP
We are the birds chirping on the tree name, God..........Some sings threnody some sings rhapsody...........10+++
I really liked this poem. Wonderful expression of ideas, and well chosen imagery.
Well poem. Actually, what has attracted my attention on your poem, is comparing people to these melodious creatures. it is worth reading.
