Weathering >>>> Poem by Manonton Dalan

Weathering >>>>

silence came to reality
everything stop except
my pounding heart, worry
my parents aren't coming
they left an hour ago
to render help for flood
we don't have cellphone yet

then faint footstep closer
louder we are so happy
they brought home sweets
and newly bake salt bread
we were eating, drinking
feasting our hearts away
I heard nobody pass away
just minor bruises and cuts
