Weather-Delay >>> - Poem by Manonton Dalan

today's rain came with force
wet my shirt and hurt my face
broke my umbrella, my last one
wind from sea hugging shoreline
turning over everything; mercy
I run to closest shelter. wait

for an hour it's not letting out
I was join by couple of sailors
from nearby ship tied to end pier
we have a good chat about work
luckily they're what I need today
I just postpone my visit tomorrow
