Weekend Warriors - Poem by Esra Sloblock

And the men and women go out
And they put it about
And they scream and shout
And each one is a lout
Nights they can't do without
Someone will get a clout
Coz diplomacy they are without
To the weekend religion they are devout
That's what they're about
And the women pose and pout
Get in a club and then kicked out
Clothes and breath full of lager and stout
Fixed on revenge there is no doubt
In the early hours there'll be a rout
They and their kind I can do without
