J-oyful face is a welcome sight,
O-pening the day with mirth;
L-et the gladness dwell
I-n your life on earth.
N-ew dawn is a welcome sight, giving nothing but pleasure;
A-llowing your heart to feel the happiness and rapture.

D-elightful sky is a welcome sight,
E-arly November day twenty-eight;
L-ight above the horizon
O-bliterates the forlorn
S-tate.

R-hyme, verse, and an ode
E-ndorse the morning light;
Y-es, an ocrostic is amazing,
E-very line is a welcome
S-ight.
