Illness occupies minds of many
Violence rises in many corners
War breaks the wall of faith
What a bedlam we see everyday!
Many run behind matters and run
Where they do go and what to do?
Why do all run for bodily goods?
When will you do good for you?
Oh soul you answer who carries you
How do you come here and why do?
For which purpose you take birth?
Just remember the furious cyclone.
Restless running will never give
The joy you are searching is far
This comes near while you feel you
God is truth and you are soul.
Running behind rest is illusion
Satisfying mind in purity you can
Earning instead virtue you run
Having sin is what a bedlam we see!
Illness gives us mental pain but when we pray and link with God we get recovery from stress This poem is interesting.
All of us are in a rat race! We run after money and fame ignoring the longings of our soul. The desire to earn more wealth is like salt water to the thirsty. The more one drinks the more thirsty one becomes. In the same way the more we amass things, the more we long to have. This will make us restless. On the contrary, if we satisfy the cravings of the soul, we will be left happy! Deep philosophical thoughts!
We see a bedlam. This thought provoking. We search for peace. God gives us peace. Leaf carries letter. Calmness is inside own mind. This we should feel. Soul is pure. Nature impacts on soul. This is a great poem and you are a nice poet.
A heartbreaking lamentation. On a more positive note, I believe that there is an equal amount of good and bad in this world, which runs with the wheel of life. A great poem.
