What I Love About Him Poem by Jessica Elizondo

People ask me what I love about him.
And all i can do is smile and say,

I love the way he can cheer me up,
I love the way he talks,
I love his smile,
I love his beautiful eyes,
I love the way he makes me laugh,
I love the way he makes me smile on my worst days,
I love his sweet, caring personallity,
I love his warm hugs,
I love when we're together,
I love how the stars only shine brightest in his eyes,
I love that when I see him my heart stops and I can barley breathe,
I love feeling this way about him,
I love him.

Then they ask me what I hate about him.
The smile dissapears, a hint of sadness is in my heart, and I say,

I hate when we're apart,
I hate when I don't see him,
I hate when hes sad,
I hate when I don't see his smile,
I hate when I don't feel his warmth,
I hate when theres a distance between us,
And I really hate that he doesnt know that Iv'e grown to love him.

And I pray that one day he will know and my love for him won't be hidden. That will be the happiest day of my life.
