'What I Would Do' (To Please You) Poem by Bernard Snyder

'What I Would Do' (To Please You)

First of all, I would take the time out
to find out, what makes you smile,
I would also go that extra mile
every once in a while
to show you I'm worthwhile,
I would take the memories from your horrid past
throw them in the ocean
with killer sharks and crabs (just to prove that your bad days are gone forever)
I would then take you with me
back to the 'deep blue'
show you that every wish you ever imagined can become true,
your cloudy days would never again be gray, they'd be sky blue
and every thing you ever wanted in a man
is standing here before you.
