What 'is' Or Is 'not' Real Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

What 'is' Or Is 'not' Real

Anyone who has never known,
To value standards, rules and laws.
With them to follow or obey to consider...
Limits or their restrictions.
To have them imposed upon them to live.
Can not be accused or be blamed,
For not feeling compelled to know...
Truth, honesty.
Or the difference between,
What 'is' or is 'not' real.
From what they have themselves been taught,
Whatever in their minds to create...
And make up.
Is just as real as anything else.
That many may claim to blame on delusion.

"Why is it,
My reality is deluded.
And everything you accept to believe,
Has been historically based upon fantasy? "

-Documentation.-

"Documentation? "

-Yes!
Documentation.
Evidenced quilled on aged parchment paper.
And, may I add...
With the best feathered pens.
And yours?
How is the proof of your 'reality',
Documented? -

"I was never told I had to do that! "

That's the difference between your reality.
And the truth of mine.
