When Clouds Are Grey Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

When Clouds Are Grey

Rating: 5.0

When clouds are still and grey,
But the blackbird sings his song.
Sweet memories appear,
In my mind you linger on.

My thoughts go back to then,
To a time when skies were blue,
I reach out for my pen,
To write these words for you.

You are my will to live,
Your words shall stay with me.
Keep strong you always said,
With strength eternally.

I keep those words alive,
Your memory will stay,
In every living moment,
Now and every day.
