You're beautiful and I love the way you glow.
If a butterfly could throw up a peace sign,
Wear shades, and rub themselves down in shea butter
Then you'd be their queen.
But not based off style alone.
Life is an assorted bag filled with a lot of different things.
Of all the things that tried to break you.
You flew higher, brighter, and farther.
Not to say that you didn't look back in vain.
Naturally, you had to see how high you've flown.
How tired your wings must be.
Flying both day and night.
I wonder how many times you've often been confused
With a firefly, the beautiful way that you glow.
Soaring across the sky.
If a butterfly could throw up a peace sign,
Wear shades, and rub themselves down in shea butter
Then you'd be their queen.
Sometimes I wonder where you've flown off to.
That's when you always appear, fluttering about.
Smiling from ear to ear.
If ever you need a place to rest.
I offer my chest as a place that you can come and go freely
As it's one of the safest places I know.
We can laugh and dance before you rest your wings
Before your next flight.
The closest I feel to a million butterflies waiting to
Follow your lead is when I am around you
