When I Cry Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

A star becomes a million stars
And shed millions of spikes of light
The sky recedes to infinity
There is no darkness but a little darkness

Serrated leaves turn upside down
Play with the wind like fleshy skeletons
My muffled tone makes them cautious
About the ensuing storm

Eyelids are glued to each other
Squeezing the tear drops
The wetness stays at the angular chin
Like ships anchored
Later to take the journey to the heart of the sea
