When Love Counts Most Poem by Chris Embrick

When Love Counts Most

Rating: 3.5

In tiny rooms, the nursing home
here all alone
they let you in
become your friend

You take the lonely by the hand
you understand
with strangers share
they know you care

You hold the dying like a child
come with a smile
when love counts most
you hold them close.

So true, love counts most at these times. But then, also every moment in our lives when there was no love, are moments, little units of life wasted. Let our hearts be filled with love to be shared at all times with all around us

Love counts much more in life. Love brings enjoyments with beauty and dignity and smile signifies life. An interesting poem is excellently penned.10
