When The Dismantling Of Truth

When the dismantling of truth
Is deemed educationally correct
And is taught unto the masses
With the thought of...what the heck!
And the removal of our main stay
The authoritative Word of God
There's full evidence of the fallout
In the amoral path that's trod

The suicidal tendencies
Rampant in our midst
The death of youth in numbers
That reality now exists
The dependency on paraphernalia
Drugs being the number one choice
Is there not an urgency required
For a truthful clarion voice

Where are the believers with the faithfulness
To give action with their prayers
And cry out to our Almighty God
For surely it is He who cares
To raise a standard of Righteousness
For it's for our common good
And stem the tide of wickedness
That's coming like a flood

O Lord give us a determination
To see Your name adored
And remove those battlements
By which it is abhorred
For Truth is found in Jesus Christ
And can be positively known
May us who know You as our Saviour
Prepare to stand our ground!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
