When Yesterday I bring to Now,
Unfolding in my mind,
Regret in heart, somehow,
The life I've had behind;
With its forgotten tears,
The wounds, which made me grow,
And childish little fears
Myself I've learnt to know.
No time could teach me best,
More than my springy years:
Little was I then, and blessed,
And quickly dried my tears.
But now my life in summer is:
No cheerful spirit, nor a glow;
Unshed, —erode the heart, and bruise:
They do not dare to flow!
This Pride, and sense of Self
To free my tears and clear my head!
And no fear in sharing with a friend,
For all we need a tear to shed.
From now, till I will cease to be,
In joyful spirit as a child I shall live:
Curiously absorbing life with glee,
And old enough, with no regrets to leave.
The live i've had behind! ! But, there is hope ahead. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.

so much to love 'From now, till I will cease to be, In joyful spirit as a child I shall live; Curiously absorbing life with glee, And old enough, with no regrets to leave.' these lines I love the most, I also choose to live in the wonderful presence of childlike qualities
