Gordon Jerome

Where - Poem by Gordon Jerome

I vision one day a world so free
where borders there no longer be
where countries must no longer fear
their neighbors who are oh so near
where strangers speak in friendly tones
and welcome you into their homes
where wars are spoke of in the past
and world freedom reigns at last
where even greed can no longer live
for all are thankful for the chance to give
where sickness and hunger can no longer grow
and joy and happiness overflow
where all the hopes and dreams come true
not just for me but also for you.
'closing thought'
This I say and say it clear
hold onto your dreams and keep them dear
