Where are you now Dad
I often wonder?
I see you not dead
but very much alive
walking among the flowers and green things in the garden
or enjoying a sup of whiskey
with family and friends.
I still see
the twinkle in your eye
Ah! ! !
the humour in life
never passed You by.
Where are you now dad
I often wonder?
the old monk told me
you were the most lovable man he ever met.
You are not dead
but very much alive
where could you go dad?
for you are Life itself
and that life is my every breath.
People who love us and pass from this life are alive in our thoughts, our hearts, and I am sure still walk with our spirit. A lovely tribute for your dad he would be so proud.
Norah I really appreciate the comment you made on my poem. I feel that writing gospel poems is what God wants me to do, and I am so thankful. This poem you wrote is a great, and I like it very much.

I would like to translate this poem
Profound and haunting, filled with life and light. A beautifully personal and intimate tribute which radiates gleams of the best of humanity, moving even the reader who had not the privilege of knowing your father. Beautifully accomplished.
