Where Do We Stand In This? Poem by Gert Strydom

'The look on their faces testifies against them
they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide
it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster on
themselves. Tell the righteous it will be well with
them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.
Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will
be paid back for what their hands have done.'
Isaiah 3: 9-11

'If I say to the wicked, 'You shall surely die, ' and
you give him no warning nor speak to warn the wicked
from his wicked way, in order to safe his life, that
wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his
blood I will require at your hand.'
Ezekiel 3: 18.

'When a righteous man turns from his righteousness,
and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block
before him, he shall die: because you have not given
him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his
righteousness which he has done shall not be
remembered; but his blood I will require at your
hand.' Ezekiel 3: 20.

Where Putin calls out the moral decay of the West,
to some Christian people he is very compelling,
which does not mean that dictator is this expelling,
where he is a corrupt terrorist killer at best,

while China watches, he does the world test,
his actions, those of his soldiers are telling,
his advisors are our doom and faltering foretelling,
how we do resist, do to our strength attest,

he wants to take what he wants by great force,
with the world play games with grain and oil,
he does the pillaging and rape of innocents endorse,
where actions against Russia do his plans spoil,
while some Christians still stay the right course,
in the world among disinterested people toil.

The Bible is clear in Isaiah that we do parade our sin,
as to who we are these factors are very strong,
as if these things are the driving forces within;
while we should on principle oppose Putin's actions as wrong,

in a world full of conflict I do not try to intervene:
to cut pass nonsense: innocent people by him die,
in a country turned upside from how it had been,
far too many do day and night out to God cry,

while almost the entire West has a crisis of belief,
where as if we are gods we do live daily,
are self-centred as if only I matter in chief,
we decide about what is right, is truth to me,

what does work and does not work in my life,
do not care that far away people try to survive,

do things as if to us there is no moral authority
and this cooks down to: to the hell with the rest,
as if how we as faltering humans like the world to be,
is for us and our offspring the very best.

We exist as if an omnipotent God do not exist
and make our own rules and hold lies to be truth,
while to principles there in this is no gist,
while we influence the minds and hearts of the youth,

while hedonist pleasure to our hearts we treasure,
as we indulge in ourselves with human bliss,
do not the sorrow and pain of others try to measure,
where what is afoot in Ukraine we do rather miss.

In these things there is nothing that does last,
it's what leads to destruction of societies of the past,

this gnaws at the soul, well-being and at society,
where Putin acts as he notices collapse from within,
calls this out, tries to change the world as he likes it to be,
do with the needless destruction of another country begin,

while own authoritarianism is in the West rife,
to think of Justin Trudeau, the great reset,
the very rich do for Klaus Schwab's Fourth Reich strive,
some do on human 2.0 in the future bet,

to without possessions force others to be happy to work,
as if at the heart of humanity there is something berserk.

COVID brought to light the West wants to dabble
with authoritarianism, with ultimate control,
while statesmen do nonsense to us babble,
where they try to force people by the whole,

where during the cold-war leaders stood for principle,
for liberty against authoritarianism and globalism,
where some did after this the blood of others spill,
did come with Woke / Communist activism.

Now another Fascist authoritarian threat
knocks at Europe and at the world's door
while Iran, China and North Korea is with Putin abet,
do to oppression change and we want this to ignore,

as if what happens there does not affect me,
as if right here never like that it's going to be,

as we do have presently the weakest leaders in years:
that with appeasement think they can wipe problems away,
while to more to control they play on our fears,
where some do us even to China and Russia betray,

regret and guilt play on military intervention,
that had happened in the more recent past
that was dubious and with misguided intention,
of which the effects do just negatively last,

that is thrown time and again into our face
and the bombardment with self-loathing of a generation,
as if we have no kind of conscience or any grace:
as if our past had only been an evil abomination,

where own culture and predecessors are the enemy:
as if while turning everything upside down right it will be,

where it had been Christian, right's respecting,
the most prosperous society had been in all human history
and lies and propaganda do it to dominating evil bring,
where in the greater good people do evil see,

in the selective choosing of historical events,
the twisting of education for children into sexuality,
brings us to a place of faltering beyond all extents,
where to take away the constitution people do fit seem

the selective teaching about values and ideals,
about how during the past our predecessors were like,
from where we truly came the good steals,
as if to the most evil we are inherently alike:

as totally worthless everything is thrown away,
in this the existence of a true God people does betray.

Where it's argued that it is not worth fighting for,
as if in all universes, science and not God is the answer,
where without a soul this eats worse than cancer,
as if in life to man and aliens there is nothing more,

as if the principles that to heart we did adore,
was to greater evil and oppression an enhancer,
while the vilest are of our destruction the advancer,
as if not to totalitarianism we change it will be as before,

they talk of build back / buy back better
while with crypto-currency they want to take,
while nothing do them in anyway tether,
as if every human being will God forsake,

but He does still reign and do people safe,
even those that at times do misbehave.

[Poet's note: Schwab calls it the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as the founder of the world economic Forum. A careful look and study of its policies make it extremely clear that it is just a continuation of what Hitler did want to achieve in his Third Reich as it is to the letter of it.
Globalism which Schwab strives for aims at a one world government.]
