Where Horses Rides Ain'T Free Poem by Manonton Dalan

Where Horses Rides Ain'T Free

dirt grace my knees taking good view
horses galloping, waving flags at rodeo
screams from crowd, joyous day to pass
petting animals, munching dried grass
children running on dirt chasing calves
to grab tail, ride, hold it down for prize

large hats, big boots, buckles, water melon too
everybody happy spending, laughing, drinking brew
women almost bare to ribs with beautiful tattoo
men by their sides walking, looking whom they know
i am soda, water vendor at booth watching you
with smile on my face, nice coming to rodeo show

This poem is so well written that it makes me visualize the characters & the whole scene vividly. thus making me feel like I am part of it while I was reading the poem - great job
