A cold case sitting in a police drawer
A cold case unsolved: to upsettingly ignore
Unless a suspect becomes known
Their crimes the police fear have grown.
A dead body buried in the cold ground
The brutal killer never found
The memory of the victim left in fragments
Their time on earth far too short but profound.
A student meeting an untimely death
Their car crashing violently on the road
From drinking too much and taking a risk
Their intoxication from alcohol severe.
A serial killer unfairly getting away with it
Believing they have the right over taking human life
Hopefully people teaching them a lesson
The serial killer needing to attend a church confession.
That nasty old man thinking nasty is right
But the almighty God he will have to fight:
A fight the nasty man will never win
The nasty old man guilty of incredible sin.
A young man dying in an accident
His friends and family devastated
Keeping his memory alive with photographs
But the accident should never have happened.
A criminal group tricking people into giving money
Playing on their vulnerabilities: and even conscience
Their greed meaning innocent people are targeted
Where is the justice? Why does this happen?
Scientists and forensics experts do search
Answers forthcoming, answers gaining justice
The crime solvers and other investigators
Saving the world from unnecessary accidents and crimes.
