Where It All Began
Hold me in your memory,
Wrap me around your heart,
Repeat the words you said to me
That made the heavens part;
Love me in a mountain stream
Or on the burning sand.....
Take me back to where it all began
Take my hand and lead me back
To that moment of ecstasy;
Help me recall what witnesses
Were never meant to see;
Love me 'til the angels blush
And offer reprimand.....
Take me back to where it all began
Grass of green and yellow blades,
You kept our secret well,
In summer's green and autumn's gold,
What stories you could tell!
Passionate moments etched in time,
And so our days were planned.....
Take me back to where it all began
Sing the song and light the flame
And stir my heart once more,
The wind will be our blanket,
Peering eyes will be ignored;
With hearts so bound together,
Our love will forever stand.....
Take me back to where it all began

This is a wonderful poem of love and passion,10/10! Each stanza is quotable, I liked the last one the most, though! 'Love me 'til the angels blush And offer reprimand..... Take me back to where it all began' Yes, 'where it all began' is the sweetest memory that is unforgettable, and we all wish to go back there.
