Where Should I Go Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Where Should I Go

Rating: 4.0

Where should I go?
When the sun will fall on my land
When the moon will vanish in the sky
What will be the life?
When the stars will cease to appear
When without rain clouds will turn dry

Where should I go?
When the streams will not flow
When hills will burn and turn into ashes
What will be the life?
When birds will forget to sing
When nations go through bloody clashes

Where should I go?
When buds will not swing on stalks
When flowers will bloom without colors
What will be the life?
When roads are littered with bodies
When wind will flow bearing stale odors

The merciless destruction of nature by humans will leave no space to hide during natural or artificial calamities. Thanks for giving your comment.

I take this poem as a warning of a nuclear war that will leave no place to go. A timely poem for the people of Asia.

It is about the destruction of foliage and leaving the lands barren. Thanks very much Sir.
