While The Sun Is Still Up Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

While The Sun Is Still Up

N-ew morn has broken,
O-ne day of joy and laughter;
R-ain and chill have vanished,
M-arch seventeenth this year.
A-n early dawn is shining to light the special moment;
N-ight shadows have faded, giving way for the big event.

D-ark dusk has passed by,
E-ventide is already gone;
V-ile weather just turns fair,
E-ndorsing the bright horizon.
R-ough sea becomes smooth, as the storm has stopped;
A-nother huge occasion is held while the sun is still up.
